Ischia Bianco Doc

50% Biancolella and 50% Forastera. Terradei Ischia Bianco Doc is a white wine with a harmonious bouquet, fruity with a characteristic note which reminds Mediterranean citrus fruits and pear.
The palate is smooth and velvety, with moderate sourness, dry and well structured. The lingering finish is marked by the typical hint of Mediterranean citrus fruits. It can be paired with light appetizers, cooked and raw seafood and fish based first courses. An excellent combination with spaghetti with clams.

Ischia Biancolella Doc

BIANCOLELLA


100% Biancolella, it has elegant and intense bouquet, floral and fruity, fragrant, classy and persistent. It develops on notes of yellow peach, banana and ginestra flowers. Full and intense on the palate, with an appealing body reflecting the varietal characteristics. Dry and savory, thanks to the type of vinification, it is pleasantly crisp. The long finish is characterized by the traditional and distinctive hint of bitter almond which enhances the uniqueness of the variety. It can be paired with cold appetizers served with sweet and sour sauces, vegetables, delicate fishes, fried seafood, vegetable creams and white meat. Excellent with Coniglio alla Cacciatora, a typical recipe from Ischia.

100% Biancolella, the bouquet is intense, wide and fruity with notes recalling the sweetness of pear pulp and ripe apricot, combined with a background of almond flowers and delicate floral sensations perfectly integrated with the current of balsamic aromas of the oak in which it is aged. On the palate it is dense and rich, persistent and well balanced, very harmonic and full bodied in its minerality. It is excellent with first dishes based on seafood, fried fish and white meat. Excellent also in combination with dishes based on mushrooms.

PITHECUSA BIANCO


550% Biancolella and 50% Fiano. A wine of great substance, with a refined and elegant bouquet of small pastry and acacia flowers, mixed with vibrant and fresh notes of fruits and white flowers. On the palate it is delicate and full, yet agile and sapid at the same time. A wine with a great personality which reminds the typical characters of its original varietals: the light almond of Biancolella and the fresh taste of Fiano. Excellent wine for the entire meal, as an aperitif or paired with first dishes of fish and seafood, also ideal with shellfish and baked fish.

80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso, Extremely pleasant wine due to its crispness. The nose is very fruity, refreshing with notes of wild strawberry, blueberry, and white flowers. To the palate is confirmed by its crispness, it is smooth and velvety, moderately acid and fruity. A very pleasing wine, summery, with wide pairing options. Excellent as aperitif with small appetizers, paired with crudités of shellfish and delicate fishes, also ideal with pizza or buffalo mozzarella.

40% Piedirosso and 60% Aglianico. The first impact, of high intensity and elegance, gives fruity and herbaceous suggestions. The olfactive range goes from the red berries fruit such as black cherry, blackberry, black currant, to the herbs, all merged in a memory of toasted wood just noticeable. Ethereal, fine, on the palate it is important, with great personality and full bodied, long lasting finish confirming and enlarging the olfactory sensations. Perfect if paired with grilled beef, game and venison or with first dishes based on meat as Bolognese or Genovese Sauce. It is also suggested to be paired with aged cheese and smoked salami.

ISCHIA PER’ ‘E PALUMMO


100% Piedirosso, this wine has a distinctly grapey bouquet, rich and intense, with fruity and spicy notes of underwood, wild blackberry, raspberry, cherry, and blueberry. It is dry and full-bodied with a slightly bitter finish. Perfect with fatty meats, poultry, rabbit. Best if served slightly cooler, it also goes very well with more structured fish dishes, such as tuna. Excellent also with mussels soup.

85% Piedirosso and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, the nose reveals intense sensations of underwood, sweet spices, fruit in spirits, tobacco, cocoa and a suffused mineral and light balsamic sensation. In the mouth is full and of great personality, dense and rich, with thick and elegant tannins and pleasingly crisp and balanced. Wine to be served with all dishes based on game as wild boars, deers, chamois and roes. Excellent also with stews, braised and grilled beef, aged cheese.

50% Aglianico, 30% Montepulciano and 20% Guarnaccia. Made from selected grapes from vineyards of various ages, it has an elegant full body to the nose and taste. At the first impression it is impressive, fine, and intense, fruity and spicy, with hints of black currant, cherry, balsamic wood and licorice, closing with smoky aromas. In the mouth is round, of considerable depth, with tannins which give it a strong character without however affecting smoothness and balance. Notable finish, exceptionally long and rich in flavor. It is an important red wine to be served with strong dishes: excellent with skewers, fatty red meats, game, roasts, tasty cheeses.

There are aromas of warm bread crust, dried apricots, and wild grass. On the palate it is both complex and elegant at the same time with a light almond note. Perfect as an aperitif and good match with dishes such as shellfish, oysters, lightly cooked seafood, and raw seafood.
